Hiya
Emma here, sitting on the 2xx information stall near the Trocadero. It's the last day of the festival, and there's a great vibe in the air. We're meeting a lot of great people here at the stall, who are happy to chat music and share their experiences, while they find out more about 2xx.
We've still got quite a few CDs, which we are offering in return for a donation. Although we've unloaded a truckload or so over the long weekend, we've still got plenty of good 'uns well worth a look at (or even better, worth a listen).
And later this afternoon, we're all excited to see that Emma Dean, who is described as a performer of "pop theatre" (with her amazing Butoh performers) will be hitting the stage at the Majestic Fringe Tent. She'll be followed by Canberra's very own Mr Fibby, and I'm also looking forward to seeing young gypsy folk band Rapskallion perform -- if you see someone wandering around the festival dressed as a pirate, it's a good chance it's Rapskallion!
And a shout out to Hadley for his wonderful job at the Majestic. As anyone who's queued up to see it can attest, the Majestic has really been the place to be at this year's festival!
Until next time, we hope you've had a great folk festival and we hope to see you soon!
